I’m a practising artist opening a boutique online gallery—an antidote to how buying art has become another de-personalised exercise of scrolling thousands of ’listings’, that are scanned rather than seen, then forgotten.

This is different—the opposite. A slow contemporary art alternative. I want to invite artists and build relationships in a supportive ecosystem that brings work straight from the studio into the showroom and the viewers’ imagination.

The gallery envisages curating the work of a manageable roster of creatives into a cohesive portfolio that provides each artist with the focused representation they deserve and offers our customers and collectors a collection of quality work, based on artistic integrity and motive: not a lifestyle accessory shop.

I want the gallery to function as an incubator, championing 2D works in paint and analog, film-based photography—which share mutual qualities of tactility, permanence, and craft.

The project is intended as an online stepping stone to a brick-and-mortar location in the future, tied directly to the success of our artists.
